Having accumulated an extensive experience in regulated markets, Popov, Arnaudov and Partners’ team provides comprehensive services such as:

• Analyzes and consultations regarding clients’ activity compliance with the sectoral legislation requirements;
• Overall consultation, support and representation regarding the execution of the administrative procedures, required for obtaining a license/registration/notification in terms of carrying out the regulated activity;
• Overall consultation, support and representation regarding implementation of subsequent obligations, related to the regulatory regime, incl. performance of reporting obligations to the Bulgarian National Bank, the Financial Supervision Commission, the Commission for Regulation of Communications, etc.;
• Representation in challenging administrative acts and penal decrees, issued by sectoral regulatory authorities.

For a period of eight years, our Law Office has supported a special purpose vehicle’s activity for real estate securitization and its servicing company by participating in the processes of: establishment, initial mandatory capital increase and the subsequent six capital increases through procedures for initial public offering of securities, amounting at over EUR 10 million, fulfilling the obligation for disclosing information periodically.

Our team has experience in the process of obtaining a license for carrying out an activity as an investment intermediary, as well as in terms of attacking illegal acts, issued by the supervisory body, and imposing the most severe administrative measures, such as appointing questors and withdrawing a license.

In the year of 2017, the Law office advised its clients on the development of innovative collective investment schemes for which a lacking explicit legal permissions are typical, including examining the relevant legislation of other countries.
