The National Assembly adopted at the second reading amendments to the Renewable Energy Act, which focus on coordination between different institutions and simplification of procedures for the implementation of renewable energy projects. The new measures will support both large and small renewable energy projects by creating a smoother and more efficient environment for their implementation.

Popov, Arnaudov & Partners (PAP) advised the Ministry of Energy on the implementation of the new directive. The PAP team, including Galin Popov, Eleonora Sergieva and Sibina Eftenova, provided expert advice and recommendations to ensure the smooth implementation of the amendments, which will accelerate the development of the renewable energy sector in Bulgaria.
