Emiliyan Arnaudov from “Popov and Partners” took participation in the World Forum for Democracy in Strasbourg
The managing partner Emiliyan Arnaudov took participation in the already traditional World Forum for Democracy, which was held in the period 27/11-29/11/2013. He was a member of a group of young political and civil leaders from the Bulgarian school of politics “Dimitar Panitsa”. Before over 500 participants from 22 schools of politics from Europe, Asia and Africa were presented developments for resolving the new challenges for the politics in the era, which in dominated by high technology, internet and social networks. The working program included more than 20 projects from all over the world, which relate to current issues of the representative democracy.
Emiliyan Arnaudov took participation in the labs “Crowdsourcing”, and also “Developing Strategic Thinking in the European Union – Global Trends 2030” In the process of work, visions have been exchanged about the connection between the institutions and citizens in the conditions of a rapidly digitalizing environment and also about the perspectives, which this environment provides – for better democratism, transparency and effective protection of rights.
Besides the participation in the forum, the Bulgarian delegation conducted a meeting with judge Zdravka Kalaydzhieva from the European Court of Human Rights. They also took participation in a regional meeting of the schools of politics from the EU countries and attended at the signing of the Agreement for strategic cooperation between the Bulgarian school of politics “Dimitar Panitsa” and the Civil School for Political Sciences in Morocco. Flowers were presented at the monument of Dimitar Peshev in the building of the European Council.
