A round table was held on 15/04/2014 in “Sheraton” hotel in relation to the financed by OPAC project  “Improvement of the transparency and effectiveness in the work of the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC)”. In the course of the discussions there were presentations of the conclusions and motions in accordance with the executed by “Popov & Partners” analysis of good practices in the field of administrative jurisdiction in 7 European countries, and also the developed analysis of the structure, functional links and internal rules in the work of SAC. The ideas, which underlie in the prepared by that the law office handbook, were presented. The handbook contains internal rules and procedures for the work of SAC and the administrative courts in Bulgaria. The forum gathered judges and employees of SAC, members of the Supreme Judicial Council, the management of the supervision body under the program OPAC, representatives of the Bulgarian Judges Association, the chairman of the Bulgarian Prosecutors Association, the chairman of the Union of Bulgarian Jurists, representatives of the National Institute of Justice and other experts, including from the team of the executor of the project “Popov and Partners”. On the eve of the day of Bulgarian jurists, the manager of the Supervision body of OPAC emphasized that the priority of the new program for good management will continue to be the optimization of the judicial administration, improvement of the qualification of the magistrates and also introduction of the electronic justice.
